The department has the following nationally significant facilities:
- Open water and ice covered model basins of Marine Technology
- Wind tunnels of Aeronautical Engineering
- Structural test hall of Mechanics of Materials
In addition to these Aeronautical Engineering has universal test machines for material testing, and facilities and equipment for the manufacture of advanced polymer composites.
