Research Groups of Aeronautical Engineering
Aeronautical Engineering has three research groups:
- Aerodynamics Group studies fluid mechanics phenomena of air, gases and fluids. Reserch objects involve aircarft, ground vehicles, urban environment and industrial machinery.
- Flight Mechanics Group studies movements of aircraft and other flying objects in the air.
- Structures Group is focused on the reserch of lightweight structures, especially polymer composites. The focus areas are damage modelling of composites and development of structural repair methods.
