ALCAS
Advanced Low Cost Aircraft Structures (ALCAS) 2005 –
ALCAS belongs to FP6 of the European Union. Nearly 60 participants from European aircraft industry, universities and research institutes are developing novel concepts for aircraft primary structures. Composite materials in novel structural concepts with efficient manufacturing methods are studied in order to increase the use of composite materials in a cost efficient way. Our primary task is to take part in the development of ribs for an airliner wing.
